I really like when you post recipes, I try to replicate them at home - maybe you’ll enjoy one made by me!!

i adore all the essay ideas you’re playing around with potentially writing! my gut instinct was to say the pop culture pieces, but i think ultimately it’s a practice of what feels more genuinely like what you want to share with your audience. i think you’re doing a great job carving that space out for yourself and being able to experiment with different themes and structures will only make you more aware of what you love doing too! look forward to all that will come 🙂

Hi! I relate so hard to the desire to be prolific and worries that I can’t be. But honestly I think you are given that you do these really insightful commentaries every month plus whatever academic work you have! Also, I will respond to your very lovely and generous email about public writing asap- fall has been crazy!

I’ve loved everything I’ve read on here but especially appreciated seeing how central food and relations of consumption are to social and political life. I’ve also really enjoyed seeing how food studies can be used as a mode of popular cultural studies.

In terms of recipes I’m not much of a cook myself so I did mostly check out the cocktails one but I’m happy.

All told, I’ll gladly read anything you write and at whatever frequency.
